Description
Offered for sale is this very nice pair of hard to find Beretta marked modern reproductions of the famous Colt SAA, otherwise known as the Peacemaker which were discontinued so are hard to find, especially with consecutive numbers!
No longer offered by Beretta, Uberti made these guns for Beretta before Uberti was bought out by Beretta & all future models were marketed as Uberti, specifically the ‘Cattleman‘ which effectively replaced the Beretta. The ‘Cattleman’ has wood grips & only the Beretta Stampede has the polymer Beretta grips making these even more instantly recognisable.
Uberti is known for its excellent reputation for manufacturing very high quality reproduction guns from the ‘Old West’.
These are an excellent example, with the colour case hardening clearly visible & the bluing is very dark.
These are collectable in their own right & very hard to come by so don’t hesitate if you think these are for you.
Replacement cost for a new Uberti is around $1,500 per gun so save heaps by buying these consecutively numbered, collectable & difficult to replace revolvers!
Unfortunately, the grips on both guns were overtightened & have a hairline crack which has been repaired very well & unless you know they are there & are looking for them, you may well not notice. See photo.
This does not detract from them being in excellent overall condition & fully functioning, with clear decisive lock up of the cylinders & they both function as new.
These would be an excellent choice if you wanted to get into Cowboy action shooting on a budget so do your own research & you will know if these are for you. Please view the photos carefully & make your decision based on what you see as they form the main description & override all written information. Ask for more if desired.
We think we have described it accurately & correctly but do not claim to be infallible so if we have got anything wrong, it is unintentional & are happy for feedback from people who know more than we do.
Whilst we check these out for serviceability, the warranty has expired & these are sold on an ‘as is’ basis. As with all used guns, we recommend you have these checked by a suitably qualified person prior to shooting.
