Description

Oldie but a Goodie!

Offered for sale is this very nice example of a highly collectable straight pull rimfire rifle made in 1967 according to records.

Produced in Belgium by Fabrique Nationale (FN) between 1965 & 1974, these rifles are desirable for their quality, unique straight-pull action & historical significance as high-grade rimfires from that era.

From roughly 1966 to the early 1970s, Browning used a salt-curing process for wood stocks which had the potential to cause severe rust on the metal parts of some rifles. While 1967 falls into this window, a T-Bolt that has been verified to be free of rust is considered a prized, high-quality piece.
We have had this rifle apart (see photos) & can confirm this hasn’t been affected by rust.

The original T-Bolt was designed in the 1960s with a unique straight-pull action that was uncommon for .22LR rifles at the time. They are often sought after because they represent the “golden age” of Belgian-made Browning firearms before production moved to Japan (Miroku).

These are highly collectable in their own right as well as being great fun & are known to be tack drivers for their accuracy.

This beautiful example comes fitted with a clear & period correct Bushnell 4 x power with very fine duplex reticle.

We are not going to try & rate the condition out of 100 as everyone seems to have a different opinion on what the percentages should be, so we’ll let the pictures be the description. You will know if this is for you so view the photos carefully & make your decision based on what you see as they form the main description & override all written information. Ask for more if desired.

We think we have described it accurately & correctly but do not claim to be infallible so if we have got anything wrong, it is unintentional.

Whilst we check these out for serviceability, the warranty has expired & this is sold on an ‘as is’ basis. As with all used guns, we recommend you have this checked by a suitably qualified person prior to shooting.

Standard cost for shipping to metro locations is $75 & all guns are sent via StarTrack without insurance but packed very well.
