Description
1943 FN Hi Power Pistole 640(b) with Waffenamts & original magazine
The Browning Hi Power was the only firearm used officially by both sides during WW2, having also been made for in Canada for the Canadian & British special forces by John Inglis & Company who also made the Bren gun.
Here you have a hard to find wartime Nazi marked FN Browning Hi Power made under Nazi occupation which the Germans designated the Pistole 640(b). This pistol has all matching parts & numbers. It is in excellent working mechanical condition with an honest patina across the metal work. The wooden grips are correct & genuine but have a very small chip in one.
The bore is good & the serial number is marked on receiver, slide & barrel as was usual. The pistol has all correct Nazi eagle stamps & proofs Waa140 marked on left side of frame & slide which is correct for this era. The Nazi eagle is marked on left side of slide & frame more than once. The right front of the trigger guard is marked ‘MR’.
Condition is better than photos show.
This is for the serious collector who knows what they want & how hard this is to get hold of one of these in Australia.
