Description

This old Aussie warhorse is all matching numbers & has definitely seen service.

The woodworks shows this but the metalwork & bore are sound so a shooter.

It is marked 1942 on the wrist & not unusually, the stock shows a date of 1943 showing it entered service most likely in early 1943.

It has the older style cocking knob which is not unusual for this era.

The stock near the wrist has been chipped & the underside has damage done in the field (see photos) & we have priced this accordingly.

If you are looking for a genuine WW2 Australian battle rifle which may well have seen many battles, this could be it.

Make your decision based on what you see, so please view the photos carefully as they form the main description & override all written information so ask for more if desired.

As with all used guns, we recommend you have this checked by a suitably qualified person prior to shooting.
