Description

Recently arrived from the Fatherland is this nice pistol collectors will know as the Pistole 640(b), also known as P.35(b), being a 9mm Browning Hi Power built by FN during the Nazi occupation of Belgium for Wehrmacht use.

It is a little known fact that the FN Hi Power is the only firearm officially used by both the Allies & the Axis during WW2, having also been made for in Canada for the Canadian & British special forces by John Inglis & Company who also made the Bren gun.

In German service, it was used mainly by Fallschirmjäger (paratrooper) & Waffen-SS personnel as made famous by the photo taken during the Battle of the Bulge of a Waffen SS trooper holding one, see photos.

Here you have a hard to find wartime Nazi marked FN Browning Hi Power made by the Fabrique National (FN) factory under Nazi occupation. This pistol is in excellent working mechanical condition with a great amount of original blueing still visible. This is in very honest original condition as can be seen in the photos with the correct wood grips plus it comes with an original Waffenamt stamped 13 rnd magazine.

The bore is good & the pistol has all correct Nazi eagle stamps & proofs Waa140 marked on left side of frame & slide which is correct for this era. The Nazi eagle is marked on left side of slide & frame more than once. The right front of the trigger guard is marked ‘MR’.

We do our best to provide clear sharp images but despite our best amateur efforts, the condition is better than photos show.

Do your own research & you will know if this is for you. Please view the photos carefully & make your decision based on what you see as they form the main description & override all written information. Ask for more if desired.

We think we have described it accurately & correctly but do not claim to be infallible so if we have got anything wrong, it is unintentional & are happy for feedback from people who know more than we do.

Whilst we check these out for serviceability, the warranty has expired & this is sold on an ‘as is’ basis. As with all used guns, we recommend you have this checked by a suitably qualified person prior to shooting.

We have a pretty unique refund policy on our collectable guns whereby we will refund your money if it is not as described when you receive it. Just let us know before you send it back.

This is for the serious collector who knows what they want & how hard this is to get hold of one of these in Australia.
