Apart from the obvious attraction this Chinese .177 air rifle is a sturdy piece of equipment & is a side cocking spring powered Cat A air rifle.
The rear stock is folding as can be seen in the photos meaning if you are in NSW you cannot buy this but for the rest of free Australia (maybe not you either WA) this can be purchased simply as a .177 Category A air rifle.
The spring & seals seem fine as this still functions with adequate power.
With its pressed steel & finish, it appears to be have been manufactured for the military & our information is that these were used by the Chinese PLA (Peoples Liberation Army) as a trainer in the 70’s & 80’s.
To our knowledge, this is the only one in the country so be the one to own it!
