Description

Mint, matching & unique gun with factory box!

Offered for pre-sale is this mint condition & highly collectable Walther PP which dates from 1967.

This example is part of the import coming from Germany & as can be seen in the photos, is in outstanding condition for a gun which is around 60 years old!

It is fully matching numbers, has the original finish, has never been restored & comes with the original box which is in impeccable condition with no rips or tears seen.

We don’t know but it may even have the original user manual & sighting target plus the flat magazine base & tool!

This particular gun is unique in that it sports the white Walther grips which were known to be associated with Nazi era presentation guns. We cannot tell if this came from the factory like this & quite frankly think it’s unlikely, as this was originally issued to the State Police of Niedersachsen, located in Lower Saxony, but it also presents with the white finger grip on the magazine, so maybe.

We know it was police issued because of the Nds in the square stamp on the frame & the slide.

It also is presented with an original Walther factory box but we don’t know if this is numbered to this gun.

The PP has a long history going back to pre-war Germany & is as well known to many as being the preferred pistol of 007 James Bond & we all know Uncle Adolph did the world a favour when he didn’t check his PP was loaded before peering intently down the barrel to find that lost piece of chewing gum in April 1945 at the Führerbunker in Berlin.

As a background, the PP was issued to Police Officers & numerous Nazi Party leaders (although this is not one of those). During the Cold War, it was a preferred pistol for those performing ‘covert activities’ on both sides due to its size, weight & concealability.

PP is an abbreviation for Polizeipistole (literally police pistol).

Walther PP’s are iconic in their own right & this is your chance to own one of the coolest looking in original beautiful condition & add it to your collection!

Note that a collectors license for modern handguns is required to purchase this pistol.

There is plenty of information out there on the PP so do your own research & you will know if this is for you. These are the only photos we have right now so please view them carefully & make your decision based on what you see as they form the main description & override all written information.

We think we have described it accurately & correctly but do not claim to be infallible so if we have got anything wrong, it is unintentional & are happy for feedback from people who know more than we do.

Whilst we check these out for serviceability, the warranty has expired & this is sold on an ‘as is’ basis. As with all used guns, we recommend you have this checked by a suitably qualified person prior to shooting.

We have a pretty unique refund policy on our collectable guns whereby we will refund your money if it is not as described when you receive it. Just let us know before you send it back.
