Description

As new with Vortex 4-12×40 ‘Diamondback Tactical’ scope!

Offered for sale is this beautiful rimfire rifle which was your typical safe queen which we doubt has fired more than 50 rounds & comes equipped with a great Vortex ‘Diamondback Tactical’ scope with the turrets which allow you to adjust windage & elevation without messing with turret caps while at the range, enabling you to adjust your scope there & then to allow for conditions.

These Austrian rifles are right up there with CZ, Anschutz & Bergera for quality.

The NRA American Hunter confirmed this in December 2018 by announcing the STEYR MANNLICHER ZEPHYR II as Rifle of the Year 2019.

We are all familiar with the Steyr Mannlicher brand that stands for the best of Austrian quality & craftsmanship and this usually refers to their excellent centrefire rifles.

It is no surprise then that a premium rimfire rifle was on the cards & Steyr did not have to look far for their inspiration, as back in 1966 Steyr Mannlicher produced the .22 LR Zephyr model which was a unique rimfire rifle, blending the Steyr brand of old-world workmanship within the diminutive rimfire calibre.

This new Steyr Zephyr rimfire has revived this model but with a few more modern attributes &  styling. The new more modern yet still very Steyr-esque stock has a traditional sporter look to it while still featuring that Germanic profile.

This model has the excellent barley twist barrel profile from the hammer-forged process & this is a rifle your grandkids will argue over long after you’re gone.

This is great value & you can buy a lot of ammo with the savings over a new rifle plus, it comes with a 10 round magazine.

We are not going to try & rate the condition out of 100 as everyone seems to have a different opinion on what the percentages should be, so we’ll let the pictures be the description. You will know if this is for you so view the photos carefully & make your decision based on what you see as they form the main description & override all written information. Ask for more if desired.

We think we have described it accurately & correctly but do not claim to be infallible so if we have got anything wrong, it is unintentional.

Whilst we check these out for serviceability, the warranty has expired & this is sold on an ‘as is’ basis. As with all used guns, we recommend you have this checked by a suitably qualified person prior to shooting.
