Description

This collectable rifle is in average condition for its age as can be seen in the photos with an even patina on the metal & the usual marks on the wood for a rifle around 100 years old. The butt plate is missing as can be seen in the photos.

We believe it is pre-1920, as there is no mention of Savage anywhere on the rifle & Savage bought out Stevens Arms on 1 April 1920 & later models were marked with Savage information.

We have checked this out & replaced the firing pin. It seems to function correctly but we have not test fired it.

This rifle is sold as is so please view the photos carefully as they form the main description & override all written information so ask for more if desired.

As with all used guns, we recommend you have this checked by a suitably qualified person prior to shooting.
