Offered for sale is this very nice piece of Aussie history in the hard to find .22 Hornet.
Sportco was an Australian manufacturer of firearms based in Adelaide from 1947 until the late 1980’s.
This has some nice hand carved animals on the stock (see photos) & would make an ideal farm gun, coming with iron sights intact & a Nikko 4 x power scope which is not much good but the 1” rings can be used for a replacement.
Condition is pretty good as can be seen in the photos.
