The famous SIG Sauer P226 is a full-sized, service-type pistol made in Germany by SIG Sauer. These pistols are SA/DA meaning they are both single action & double action.
U.S. Navy SEAL teams started using the SIG P226 in the 1980s, after their German equivalents the ‘Kampfschwimmer’ tested them successfully for Spec Ops use in a range of environments. They were used by many Law Enforcement & Military Special Ops Units including the SA Police STAR Force & are still in use with many.
This very nice stainless steel P226 S is fitted with an adjustable rear sight & is in excellent condition as can be seen in the photos & comes with the original box, 5 x 10 round magazines, nicely checkered wood grips grips & an assortment of parts, including the original black grips.
This would be an ideal gun for IPSC shooters.
Replacement cost for a new stainless steel P226 would be over $3,000 so at this price, why not buy this one?
