Description

As new!

The Savage Predator Hunter rifle features a 22” medium-heavy contour barrel mated to a short-action receiver utilizing a blind magazine box & large knob bolt handle. The stock is the standard Savage synthetic style providing a round forearm & sling swivel studs. The whole works, including trigger guard &  Weaver-style scope bases are finished in ‘Mossy Oaks’ Brush camouflage pattern. Whoever bought this gun new also spent the time & money to continue this on the Bushnell 4-12×40 scope, as can be seen in the photos.

The scope is as clear as the day it was mounted & the whole package is ready to go hunting or, to bang away at the range.

These rifles have a 1:9 twist rate that stabilizes all but the longest & heaviest .223 bullets with a sweet spot between 55 & 69 grains.

This rifle has been a safe queen for most of its life since the late noughties when it was manufactured (these were introduced in 2007) & the RRP for a new rifle is around $2,200 (+ scope) so you can buy a lot of ammo with what you’ll save.

We are not going to try & rate the condition out of 100 as everyone seems to have a different opinion on what the percentages should be, so we’ll let the pictures be the description. You will know if this is for you so view the photos carefully & make your decision based on what you see as they form the main description & override all written information. Ask for more if desired.

We think we have described it accurately & correctly but do not claim to be infallible so if we have got anything wrong, it is unintentional.

Whilst we check these out for serviceability, the warranty has expired & this is sold on an ‘as is’ basis. As with all used guns, we recommend you have this checked by a suitably qualified person prior to shooting.

Standard cost for shipping to metro locations is $55 & all guns are sent via StarTrack without insurance but packed very well.
