Offered for sale is this sweet Browning Model 1910 in .32 which has been comprehensively engraved at the FN Factory in the ‘Blackleaf’ style, also known as German floral which is ornamentation consisting of leaves & stems arranged in swirling or spiral patterns. Blackleaf is a popular style of engraving on European & British guns.

We know the provenance as we obtained it from a ‘little old lady’ who had (completely illegally) kept it in the top draw next to her bed for the past 40 years & she had it passed down from her father who she remembers as having it since new she believes.

Needless to say we are happy to sell this for her as it really is a beautiful piece of history in immaculate condition for it’s age, as can be seen in the photos.

We haven’t found much in our research regarding the engraving as there are very few of this style which matches the few examples we can find online, as this would have been a special order.

According to the S/N we believe it was manufactured pre WW2, most likely in the late 1920’s – early 1930’s which ties in with the elaborate scroll engraving of the period.

This is most likely either a special order by a customer or from the retailer as it clearly is a commercial model with the high gloss bluing.

We think we have priced this highly collectable gun very reasonably to acquire a quick sale so don’t hesitate if you think this is for you.

This requires a collectors license for purchase.

We are not going to try & rate the condition out of 100 as everyone seems to have a different opinion on what the percentages should be, so we’ll let the pictures be the description.
