Description

Capable of shooting .22 Short, .22 Long & .22LR cartridges!

Offered for sale is this beautiful rifle in mint condition as can be seen in the photos.

These are an example of a smaller firearms company which produced very well made guns which was bought out by a larger firm, in this case Marlin which only produced them between 1960-1966, according to available data.

These are quite rare in Australia & are very popular due to the fact they are capable of shooting .22 Short, .22 Long & .22LR cartridges & highly collectable in their own right.

As can be seen in the photos, this rifle is impeccable & appears to have been fired very little, if at all. The rifle has been stored in grease for several decades so the brown substance seen in the photos of the bolt face is grease, not rust.

The Burris Rimfire 3-9×40 scope is clear with the original iron sights intact.

This would be an excellent choice of rifle to pass onto your kids one day.

We are not certain but information available indicates the rifles with the Woodchuck engraving were only sold through JC Penny in the US. The story behind how it got to Australia would be worth hearing.

You will know if this is for you so view the photos carefully & make your decision based on what you see as they form the main description & override all written information. Ask for more if desired.

We think we have described it accurately & correctly but do not claim to be infallible so if we have got anything wrong, it is unintentional & are happy for feedback from people who know more than we do.

Whilst we check these out for serviceability, the warranty has expired & this is sold on an ‘as is’ basis. As with all used guns, we recommend you have this checked by a suitably qualified person prior to shooting.
