Offered for sale is this nice early Enfield .303 made by BSA & Co. which has matching barrel, receiver, nose cap, bolt & rear sight.
This rifle has seen a life as can be seen in the photos but as you may know, quality rifles of this YOM don’t come along often to the collectors market & this is in good overall condition with a serviceable bore which is dark with good rifling.
As can be seen by markings, this rifle underwent the FTR process at Lithgow in 1950, meaning it was checked over & anything which didn’t meet standards was replaced.
This is an excellent opportunity to add an early SHTLe rifle to your Enfield collection so do your own research & you will know if this is for you.
