Marlin is mostly known for its lever action rifles but the XS7 has achieved a very good reputation over the years it has been on the market. Mostly sold in the US & UK, it has been built for those who want a rifle with premium features at a fair price. Features include the adjustable trigger system, camo synthetic Monte Carlo stock with ‘Soft-Tech’ recoil pad, fluted bolt for speed & smoothness, a pillar bedded stock for accuracy & recessed “target style” muzzle crown.
This .243 rifle was manufactured in the original Marlin North Haven factory & as such is of superior build quality than those made post 2010 in NY. It is very good condition as can be seen in the photos.
This would make an ideal hunting rifle, just add scope.
