Description

Offered for sale is this nice example of a Fabrique Nationale (FN) Browning  ‘Trombone’.

The Trombone was a neat hammerless pump action rimfire rifle designed by John Browning in 1919 & FN produced it from 1922 to 1974.

These are immensely popular little rifles & are in high demand, both with collectors & plinkers.

These were known to sometimes crack at the wrist & not unusually, this has had a repair of cracks on either side of the wrist & which appear to have been done well (see photos). It actions correctly with no issues & the bore is fine.

We are not going to try & rate the condition out of 100 as everyone seems to have a different opinion on what the percentages should be so we’ll let the pictures be the description. You will know if this is for you so view the photos carefully & make your decision based on what you see as they form the main description & override all written information. Ask for more if desired.

Whilst we check these out for serviceability, the warranty has expired & this is sold on an ‘as is’ basis. As with all used guns, we recommend you have this checked by a suitably qualified person prior to shooting.
