Description

This Rifle was manufactured in the Fazakerley factory in Liverpool during WW2 & later underwent an FTR (Factory Thorough Refurbishment).

This rifle underwent this process in 1948, as indicated on the rifle (see pictures). What this means to you is that this was stripped, serviced & had anything which was worn or looked like it was needing to be replaced at the time so you have a rifle that is as good as new can be for a rifle that is around 75 years old.

As can be seen in the photos, this has an interesting Z on the stock (or is it an N?) which we assume is an armoury rack identifier or similar (probably not because it was used by ‘Z Force‘).

This has the extra sling swivel mounted just in front of the magazine which are usually associated with sniper built variants so would make a great start to a repro sniper build or just a good service rifle shooter or perhaps fill that gap in your Enfield collection.

Please view the photos carefully as they form the main description & override all others.

Whilst we check these out for serviceability, the warranty has expired & this is sold on an ‘as is’ basis. As with all used guns, we recommend you have this checked by a suitably qualified person prior to shooting.
