Offered for sale is this barely used (if at all) example of the highly desirable CZ 527 American chambered in the super fast .17 HORNET which was manufactured in USA in 2013 & comes mounted with a clear Bushnell 3-9×40 scope mounted on factory CZ 527 rings, which is ideal for this rifle due to being compact & light, with enough magnification for most hunters.

The .17 Hornet was developed as a “wildcat cartridge” by P.O. Ackley in the early 1950’s. It’s essentially a necked-down .22 Hornet cartridge & has a fast, flat trajectory of around 3,200fps so is a great pelting round, being primarily designed for varmint hunting. 

Hornady standardized the .17 Hornet in 2011 & was offered as a calibre in limited numbers by CZ soon after.

The CZ 527 features a classic American pattern stock, sporter-weight hammer forged barrel & a single SET TRIGGER. The barrel crowning is made with a special recess as applied to firearms used for target shooting.

The CZ 527 has it all:

  • Mauser style action;
  • Controlled feed;
  • Detachable box magazine;
  • Hammer forged barrel;
  • Single set trigger; &
  • 2 stage safety

As can be seen in the photos, this rifle is in perfect condition & ready to hunt or just admire!
