Description

This neat little gun was manufactured around 1880 but records were not kept so this is just a guesstimate. It is in very good condition for its age, with smooth walnut grips intact with no chips or cracks, 2.5″ barrel all of which appears to not have been refinished.

Action works fine, barrel pivots left for loading on half cock & it cocks correctly & firmly. The barrel pivot has a very small amount of play when closed. Nickel coated steel frame is in very good condition with no signs wear or tarnishing. Light bluing remains on hammer & barrel with signs of pleasant patina now.

Has the sheath trigger & stamped on barrel is simply -COLT-.

This gun is pre-1900 so no F/A license is needed to purchase.
