MINT & CLASSIC!

The Smith & Wesson Model 17-2 (also historically known as the K-22 Masterpiece) based on the K-Frame with blued carbon steel is a classic double-action rimfire target revolver manufactured during in mid-1962 according to records.

These are very desirable as they are a full sized gun, made when the USA made quality firearms.

This example is what is referred to as the -2 Dash Version which features the standard 6-inch barrel with a ribbed top, pinned Patridge-style front sight & a micro-adjustable micrometer-click rear sight.

The original bluing is deep & rich & the original medallion grips display no obvious scratches, scrapes or other damage.

As can be seen in the photos, the wide target trigger & hammer are both beautifully case-hardened steel.

We are not going to try & rate the condition out of 100 as everyone seems to have a different opinion on what the percentages should be, so we’ll let the pictures be the description.

You will know if this is for you so view the photos carefully & make your decision based on what you see as they form the main description & override all written information. Ask for more if desired.

We think we have described it accurately & correctly but do not claim to be infallible so if we have got anything wrong, it is unintentional.

Whilst we check these out for serviceability, the warranty has expired & this is sold on an ‘as is’ basis.

As with all used guns, we recommend you have this checked by a suitably qualified person prior to shooting.

On all of our used guns, we have a unique 3 day inspection policy whereby if you receive the gun & it’s not as described, return it & we will refund your money in full. Just let us know before you decide to send it back.

Standard cost for shipping is $55 & all guns are sent packed very well & tracked in transit.
