Description

This rare & beautiful rifle is in absolute pristine condition with all numbers matching, right down to the cleaning rod! It retains the receiver stamp of the Kingdom of Chile making a rare find among South American Mausers plus it has all other stamps on the metal plus beautiful, unrestored cartouches on the wood. The bayonet is original Chilean but is the only thing not numbered to the rifle. These were manufactured in Berlin by Ludwig Lowe for around 2 years only & specifically for the Chilean Government, hence the model designation Mauser Chileno Modelo 1895 making them very hard to find. In this condition, basically unissued, this is a very rare rifle indeed. As seen in the photos, it has the pre-war quality not found in modern military firearms.

This is a must have for your Mauser collection & you will not be disappointed.

Please view all of the photos carefully as they form the main description & override all others so feel free to ask for more as we have taken plenty.

Sold on consignment on behalf of a collector.
