Description
Offered for sale is this very nice example of Winchester’s late 1980’s offering which came out after the Winchester Model 101 & before the more modern Miroku made guns.
It is correctly marked Made in Japan, as Winchesters of that era were & this actual gun was manufactured at the Olin Kodensha plant in Japan, as indicated by the ‘K’ prefix & the ‘E’ refers to the ejectors & the fact it was intended for the European market.
As can be seen in the photos, it is in very good condition for its age.
The bores are literally pristine & the action is very tight with no lateral movement although the action breaks easily. The top barrel has full choke & the lower is Improved / Modified.
LOP is 14” with 28” barrel & the ejectors work well!
As can be seen in the photos, this has very nice subtle patterned wood & is overall, a very attractive gun.
This would make an ideal first clay target shooting gun or, as an addition to any collection of older, classic under/over shotguns.
You will know if this is for you so view the photos carefully & make your decision based on what you see as they form the main description & override all written information. Ask for more if desired.
Whilst we check these out for serviceability, the warranty has expired & this is sold on an ‘as is’ basis. As with all used guns, we recommend you have this checked by a suitably qualified person prior to shooting.
