Description
This post war Ishapore No. 1 Mk III SMLE is in good condition with nice woodwork, bore & metal. These are unique & rare in Australia. This would have to be among the very last to have GRI stamped on the wrist as after 1949 they were all marked with RFI (Rifle Factory Ishapore). This would make an excellent service rifle while being unique & would be a good pick up for someone wanting to add a hard to find Ishapore to their SMLE collection for around the same price as a nice Lithgow.
