1943 Inglis Hi Power with original holster & magazine

Here you have here a hard to find Inglis Hi Power in absolutely original mint condition with all numbers ‘in the white’.

Interestingly, the Browning Hi Power was the only firearm used officially by both sides during WW2, having also been made for the Nazi’s by the FN factory after it was overrun. When the Inglis Hi Powers were made, the serial numbers & markings were applied after the finish. This meant all numbers & markings should be white, or the colour of the metal underneath. If numbers & markings are in black, this is a surefire indicator the pistol has been refinished & worth much less.

Not only has this one remained in original condition, it is an extremely low numbered gun. After the initial Chinese contract run, the Inglis factory began making Hi Powers for the British & Canadian special forces. These were without the tangent rear sights & no slot. These were made in batches of 10,000 with each batch starting with the batch number, in this case batch 2 followed by the letter T with the number after this going up to 9,999. This indicates this was number 424 of the 2nd batch made for the Allied SF making it a very desirable gun indeed.

This particular one also comes with an original magazine marked JI & the original holster which make it as complete a package for your collection as could be. This is for the serious collector who knows what they want & what they are getting.
