Description
Why buy new?
Offered for sale is this barely used rifle which was traded from the original owner just 3 months after he purchased it.
As can be seen in the photos, this is practically unmarked & has had very little use.
With a RRP of around $2,200 this is great value & you can buy a lot of ammo with the $500 you’ll save if buying this!
The BLR Lightweight ’81 Stainless is ready to take on the toughest hunting conditions. Complete with a satin finish on the laminated gray hardwood stock, satin-nickel finish on the receiver & matte finish on the stainless barrel. The TRUGLO/Marbles fiber-optic front sight lets you draw a fine bead in low light conditions. This is what a serious lever-action hunting rifle should be & what every other lever-action wishes it was.
Quick takedown. The takedown models of the BLR are unique, allowing you to simply flip a finger lever, twist the receiver & barrel 90 degrees which instantly separates the two parts for space saving storage or easy transportation. Reassembly is in reverse order & takes only seconds.
The barrel on BLR Takedown models is factory drilled & tapped for an optional Browning forward-mounted scout-style scope base to provide a rock-solid optics mounting platform.
We are not going to try & rate the condition out of 100 as everyone seems to have a different opinion on what the percentages should be, so we’ll let the pictures be the description. You will know if this is for you so view the photos carefully & make your decision based on what you see as they form the main description & override all written information. Ask for more if desired.
We think we have described it accurately & correctly but do not claim to be infallible so if we have got anything wrong, it is unintentional.
Whilst we check these out for serviceability, the warranty has expired & this is sold on an ‘as is’ basis. As with all used guns, we recommend you have this checked by a suitably qualified person prior to shooting.
Standard cost for shipping to metro locations is $55 & all guns are sent via StarTrack without insurance but packed very well.
