Description

This is the original ‘British Bulldog’ & was copied by numerous European & American manufacturers in the early 20th Century.

Circa 1889, this unique revolver is marked Webley & Son which pre-dates the Webley & Scott partnership making it highly desirable.

As the name RIC suggests, this was issued to the Royal Irish Constabulary as a ‘pocket gun’ & is chambered in the original .450 & is both SA & DA.

The bore is sound & metal work shows nice even patina with all markings clearly visible & the original wooden checkered grips are in good, unchipped condition.

All matching numbers & the original lanyard ring is still present.

This is a truly unique gun & a must for the collector of pre-1900 revolvers. Please view the photos closely as these form the main description & override all others.
