Unfired & as new!

Offered for sale is this nice Winchester ‘Little Big Horn’ Commemorative Model 94 rifle in excellent overall condition which appears unfired but this is no guarantee. What can be seen is that it has never had a round through the loading gate!

Winchester Commemoratives were first introduced in 1964 & each Commemorative was issued as a reproduction of a historically famous gun model or to honor a historically significant person, group, event or institution relating to U.S. or Canadian history.

Commemoratives are generally of very excellent quality & are often embellished with fancy stocks & metal finishes such as silver, nickel or gold plating.  Manufactured to be instant collectibles, they are pleasing to the eye.

The ‘Little Big Horn’ commemoratives were introduced in 1976 to commemorate the time Custer explored the concept of FAFO with the Sioux & just 11,000 were actually made in memory of this.

This example is in better than usual condition…not perfect but certainly pretty bloody good. On examination, there is evidence of a small amount of wear from handling which is not unusual for a rifle near on 50 years old but the barrel is fine & the action works well.

Please view the photos carefully & make your decision based on what you see as they form the main description & override all written information. Ask for more if desired.

Do your own research & you will know if this is for you.

We think we have described it accurately & correctly but do not claim to be infallible so if we have got anything wrong, it is unintentional & are happy for feedback from people who know more than we do.

Whilst we check these out for serviceability, the warranty has expired & this is sold on an ‘as is’ basis. As with all used guns, we recommend you have this checked by a suitably qualified person prior to shooting.
