Description

Modern, safe black powder rifle!

Since 1971, Connecticut Valley Arms (CVA) has been dedicated to giving shooting enthusiasts one of the best muzzleloading values on the market. They’ve accomplished this by continually developing innovative rifles that consumers want, at prices they can afford.

All of their guns are designed & assembled in their state-of-the art production facility located in the little town of Bergara in northern Spain – a region that has been famous for gun-making for hundreds of years. Every barrel they use is also made in Bergara at the Bergara Barrels factory.

Correctly chambered in .50 Caliber black powder percussion with a 33” barrel with a very fine bore with strong rifling.

As can be seen in the photos, this rifle is in excellent condition the hex barrel is still ‘in the white’ & the hardwood full stock rates excellent, as does the brass furniture &  color case-hardened lock plate & patch box in the stock.  The action functions properly holding at half & full cock plus it comes with the original brass tipped ramrod as can be seen in the photos.

If you want to get into black powder shooting at the range or just pretend you’re Daniel Boone, this is an excellent opportunity to do it with a safe, modern reproduction of a famous black powder rifle.

We are not going to try & rate the condition out of 100 as everyone seems to have a different opinion on what the percentages should be, so we’ll let the pictures be the description. You will know if this is for you so view the photos carefully & make your decision based on what you see as they form the main description & override all written information. Ask for more if desired.

We think we have described it accurately & correctly but do not claim to be infallible so if we have got anything wrong, it is unintentional.

Whilst we check these out for serviceability, the warranty has expired & this is sold on an ‘as is’ basis. As with all used guns, we recommend you have this checked by a suitably qualified person prior to shooting.
