Mint, matching with double set trigger!
The BRNO rifles hail from what was Czechoslovakia & have a long-standing history within the firearm industry, dating back to before WW2. In this time, the company has upheld traditional values & quality products that have continued to impress gun aficionados from far & wide. It is no wonder then that BRNO are one of the biggest selling firearm brands on the market & have been since the early 20th Century. For a simple, bolt-action rifle that is easy to maintain you couldn’t find any better than a BRNO.
In 1948 they again began to make sporting & hunting rifles, among them the ZKW 465. These are a favourite amongst avid hunters & shooters as the brand is synonymous with durability, accuracy & practicality.
All ZKW 465’s were chambered in .22 Hornet & of course are no longer produced as they ended production in 1973 we believe & this example was manufactured in 1965 as can be seen on the receiver (see photos).
As can be seen in the photos this rifle is in outstanding condition & is fitted with the factory Monte Carlo stock which, along with the rest of the wood is in magnificent condition.
Unusually, it also retains both front & rear iron sights (see photos) plus it has the desirable double set trigger.
These rifles are collectable in its own right so whether you are a collector or just want ‘old school’ quality & finish, this could be just the .22 Hornet you are looking for.
Make your decision based on what you see, so please view the photos carefully as they form the main description & override all written information so ask for more if desired.
As with all used guns, we recommend you have this checked by a suitably qualified person prior to shooting.
